Upon arrival to our facility each tank is unloaded and inventoried recording data plate information, tank style and general condition
After unload tank are inverted and evacuated removing all LP vapor pressure and sediment including heavy ends.
Old valves are removed and openings are inspected for damage before being prepared for blasting
Tanks are steel shot blasted to a bare metal allowing us to conduct an external visual inspection and apply a durable coating.
Tanks are coated with 16 electronically controlled powder guns producing an even finish every time.
Once the tank cools after exiting the cure oven new Rego valves and remote ready gauges are installed.
After new valves and gauges are installed a vacuum is pulled on the tank to remove oxygen and moisture.
ASME tanks 120 Gallon and larger are filled with Methanol at a rate of 1 Gallon per 1000 gallons of tank capacity.
When tanks are loaded all contact points are protected using foam and cotton rope reducing the risk of damage to the finished surface.
